🎓 Eligibility Criteria for BPSC Teacher Recruitment

🔹 Basic Requirements

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.

• Must have passed the Bihar Special School Teacher Eligibility Test (BSSTET):

  • Paper-I for Class 1 to 5

  • Paper-II for Class 6 to 8

• Must possess a valid CRR (Central Rehabilitation Register) number issued by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

📘 For Class 1 to 5 (Primary Level)

• Must have passed Higher Secondary (12th) with minimum 50% marks, and

• Hold a Diploma in Special Education (D.El.Ed) from an RCI-recognized institute with a valid CRR number,
  OR

• Have an equivalent certificate/diploma in Special Education recognized by RCI with CRR number.

• Also required: 6-month training in cross-disability teaching.

📘 For Class 6 to 8 (Upper Primary Level)

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree (with minimum 50% marks) from a recognized university, and

• Hold a B.Ed. in Special Education from an RCI-recognized institute with CRR number,
  OR

• Hold a certificate/diploma equivalent to B.Ed. in Special Education recognized by RCI with a valid CRR number.

• Also required: 6-month training in cross-disability teaching.

🎂 Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 37 years
  (Age relaxation available as per BPSC rules)
